About Shahab Booshehri

Shahab Booshehri is the Head of Operations for BellSoft Labs focusing on bridging the gap between Java adoption and ARM architecture. He helps clients attain OpenJDK runtimes for traditional Java workloads such as server deployments, desktop usage, and cloud initiatives. A pet project of his has been OpenJDK on embedded systems to ensure secure and reliable usage of Java applications in resource-limited environments.

Previously Shahab was a specialist for a Palo Alto-based startup called Awake Security. Through Covid, the company paved its way to a successful acquisition by Palo Alto Networks. Before that Shahab was a sales engineer for another Palo Alto startup called Delphix and a firmware developer for HPE Storage working on the 3PAR storage array.

He holds a degree from the University of California, San Diego in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Starting his career in R&D he has now paved a route for himself in Technology sales and operation.
