Edge compute strategies for aggregating real time diverse inputs
Advances in processor integration allow previously separate edge systems, e.g. for sensors, vision, AI, data reduction, and IoT gateway, to be consolidated for rapid integration and deployment. As a result, customers no longer have to develop and maintain different embedded real-time systems for individual tasks. To develop such heterogeneous systems, OEMs need a flexible real-time hypervisor and an embedded multicore processor platform with high- and low-speed buses.
