FPGA design with a functional programming language

You will learn all about the free and open-source Haskell-to-Verilog compiler called Clash (https://clash-lang.org). Clash brings you high-level FPGA using the modern functional programming language called Haskell. You will learn about the incredible programming-in-the-large potential of having domain experts and RTL designer developing in the same, highly declarative, programming language. In addition, you will discover which industries already benefit from using Haskell for FPGA design in production.

About Christiaan Baaij

Christiaan co-founded QBayLogic immediately after receiving his PhD in computer science in order to improve the productivity of FPGA and ASIC designers and the joy that they have in their work by bringing the work from his former research group to industry. Through QBayLogic, Christiaan has worked for companies ranging from start-ups to hyper-scalers assisting them in tackling their circuit design challenges. He is one of the core developers of the Haskell-to-Verilog compiler called Clash and enjoys exploring novel ways to bring the advances in software engineering and computer science to the world of digital circuit design.
