The reality is that it is not possible, cost effective or desirable to transmit every data sample from every IoT device to the cloud in order to gain value from that data. SkySpark’s distributed computing design allows the same code base and feature set to run in small low cost IoT devices, server level hardware and on popular cloud platforms. Application developers work in the exact same code base whether developing equipment-level or cloud-based applications, whether implement analytics, machine learning, data presentation, device configuration or other applications.
